North GA RESA is excited to start the 2025 - 2027 cohort for LETRS® (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling).  

LETRS is professional development that provides educators with an understanding of:

• Scientifically based best practices for instructional routines, activities, and approaches
• The relationships among language, reading, and writing
• The components of comprehensive, integrated language and literacy instruction for given grade, age, and ability levels
• Reliable assessments and theoretical models for interpreting individual differences
  in student achievement
• How to deliver effective literacy instruction and directly apply LETRS principles and practices to the classroom

These sessions will be in person, hands-on, high quality professional learning sessions. The facilitators are certified through Lexia Learning and will facilitate volume one sessions on the following dates: 

Unit 1: October 9, 2025 

Unit 2: November 13, 2025

Unit 3: January 29, 2026

Unit 4: March 12, 2026

Price per participant: $1,500.00 (This price includes the following: online course license, LETRS volume 1 & 2 manuals, training materials fee, and facility fee)
