Google Classroom – Learn how to use Google’s suite of tools for education. This class will cover everything you need to get started with Google. We will do a brief overview of the basics like creating and storing files in Drive and using Docs for collaborative word processing. Then we will dig deeper and learn how to create Forms and use them for quizzes, surveys, and data collection. We will then combine all of this and learn to use Classroom to create classes, set up assignments and grade submissions. We will examine Classroom from both a teacher and student perspective. The session will be hands on so that teachers with Google Apps accounts can begin using the software in class with their own classes. However, you do not need to have a Google Apps for Education Account to participate.
