We now offer local school board training so that your school board members can receive the training they need.

The delivery method will be flexible regarding small group, large group or whole board.
Alignment to Standards:
Each course is designed to align to the adopted state standards.
Member districts: No charge
Non-member districts: A charge of $35 per participant will be assessed, and if the delivery at the local board of education site is desired, travel expenses will be assessed.
The location will be determined by the local board of education’s needs. It could be at the local board of education site or the North GA RESA site.
Length of Course
The block of time will be three (3) hours and will be provided one time per month with time frame and day TBD.

Director of Professional Learning
The Professional Learning Department plans, coordinates, and delivers all courses, workshops, endorsements, and training events of North Georgia Regional Educational Service Agency (RESA). The Professional Learning Department offers regularly scheduled courses as well as on-request training events and custom-designed training to meet individual school and system needs. North Georgia RESA is committed to building the capacity of educators in the region through courses, workshops, consortium, and other activities. Endorsements are offered in ESOL, Gifted, and K-5 Math. Other custom-designed professional learning opportunities are conducted based on system and school requests meeting the unique goals and needs of the individual school system and/or schools.
